Albamar Fusco 2019

Out of stockBodegas Albamar is a family winery with generations of grape-growing experience in Galicia, on the NW Atlantic coast of Spain. The Fusco Mencia from Albamar is a bit of an oddball wine from this producer, as it comes from inland Galicia, far from the sea, where all their estate vineyards lie. From the sub-region of Chantada, it comes off vines that are between 30 and 40 years old, planted on granite and clay soil and bathed by a continental climate. While Fusco is the Galician word for night or darkness, this wine is quite the opposite; bright, fresh, and very lively. Full of red fruits, and flowers, alongside some primary sweet spice.
